Mediation is a process where the parties Florita Ray-Welsh work together to develop a workable solution to their own unique problem through the use of an impartial third-party, typically referred to as a mediator.

A mediator’s job is to help the parties reach an agreement on their terms, rather than letting a Judge or Jury decide for them. Only you can know what will work best for you and your family. A Judge or Jury can only look at the facts presented and make a decision that they believe is best, but that takes it completely out of your hands and gives someone else a say in your life.

You may be thinking to yourself, “there is no way we could ever agree.” That is where a mediator can help. The mediator will listen to both sides, will guide you in what they believe would likely happen if you went to trial and help the parties come to a workable solution. In mediation YOU get to be the decider, rather than leaving it to the Judge or Jury.
